Admission Procedure

Join us on the transformative journey of holistic education and inner growth at Bharat Uday Gurukul.
Admissions are Open for Session 2024-25 and on the basis of academic merit and spiritual quest, only 6-10 years old boys are to be admitted.

Submit of the duly filled admission Form with fee (108₹) is the first key step for a child to enter into the Bharat Uday Gurukul Admission procedure.

Written Examination

Aim: The written examination aims to assess the analytical ability, social
awareness, learning aptitude, and spiritual quotient of the child.
Subjects: The examination will cover subjects like mathematics, science,
language, arts, social awareness, and topics related to spirituality and values.
Format: The examination will be conducted in a multiple-choice question format, short answer questions, and essay-type questions to assess different aspects of the child’s abilities and knowledge.
Duration: The duration of the examination will be 1 hour.
Date: The examination will be scheduled on a specified date and time, which will be communicated to the applicants.

Interview:

Aim: The interview aims to assess the keenness of the parents towards holistic education, their expectations from the school, and the spiritual and moral values they uphold.
Format: The interview will be conducted by a panel of experienced educators and administrators.
Duration: The interview will typically last for 30-45 minutes.
Date: The interview will be scheduled on a specified date and time, which will be
communicated to the successful applicants on the basis of examination.
Expectations from Parents: The interview will involve questions about the parents’ views on holistic education, their expectations from Bharat Uday Gurukul, and their willingness to support their child’s education and spiritual
growth.

Holistic Health Assessment

Aim: The holistic health assessment aims to ensure the overall well-being of the
child, including physical, mental, and emotional health.
Components: The assessment will include a physical health examination by a
qualified medical professional, a psychological assessment by a psychologist,
and an assessment of the child’s emotional well-being.
Date: The health assessment will be scheduled on a specified date and time,
which will be communicated to the applicants.
Requirements: Parents are required to provide the child’s medical history and
any relevant medical documents.

  1. Other Paperwork:
  • Documents Required: Parents are required to submit the child’s birth certificate,
    academic transcripts (if applicable), medical records, and any other relevant
    documents. Affidavits- declaration on natural calamities.
  • Application Form: Parents are required to fill out the application form, which
    will include information about the child’s background, parents aspiration,
    educational history, and any special needs or requirements.
  1. Final Decision:
  • Selection Process: The selection process will be based on the child’s performance
    in the written examination, interview, holistic health assessment, and other
    relevant factors.
  • Notification: Parents will be notified of the admission decision via email or
    phone call.
  • Acceptance: If the child is accepted, parents will be required to submit the
    necessary paperwork and pay the admission fee to confirm the admission.
  1. Orientation Program:
  • Aim: An orientation program will be conducted for the parents and the child to
    familiarize them with the school’s values, curriculum, policies, and procedures.
  • Date: The orientation program will be scheduled on a specified date before the
    start of the academic year.
  1. Admission Fee:
  • Amount: The admission fee for Bharat Uday Gurukul will be communicated to
    the parents upon acceptance of the child’s admission.
  • Payment: The admission fee can be paid through various payment methods,
    including online payment, bank transfer, or in-person payment at the school’s
    admissions office.
  1. Joining Instructions:
  • Information Pack: Parents will receive an information pack with joining
    instructions, including details about the academic calendar, uniform, school
    rules, and other important information
