Bharat Uday Gurukul is an exclusive international residential school located in Ruri Para, a remote village in Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. The school aims to go beyond traditional rote learning by integrating Indian wisdom with modern education. Our 60-acre campus, nestled in the pristine Indo Gangetic Plain region of Bundelkhand, is designed to inspire creativity, exploration, and spiritual growth.

With hundreds of species of flora and fauna, conducive facilities, and sustainable practices, our Gurukul offers an unparalleled environment for academic, social and spiritual development. We practice Bhagvadgita, Ramcharitmanas and yoga and live them in our daily life at gurukul. We have integrated academics in naturalistic learning- be it science or mathematics learning. It happens always in a playful manner and students practice and participate actively in gardening, flower picking, plantation and organic farming and traditional activities during their stay at gurukul. This helps them in forming cognitive and conative abilities in unparalleled way.

Our students are encouraged to express themselves through a variety of ways and techniques, act compassionately and courageously, engage in collaborative project work, and develop principled, reflective, and balanced risk-takers. The child is essentially a soul with a body. A healthy mind lives in healthy body, life-energy and mind to be harmoniously and integrally developed.

The education is therefore so organized at Bharat Uday Gurukul as to secure: the fullest possible development of the physique; we have state of art outdoor and indoor areas for yoga, meditation, playing, swimming, kushti, sand pit and many more of natural experiments and exploration area in sprawling campus of the gurukul, which has more than 54 acres green area.

Academics along with value based character education is critical for society

The only way for them to train themselves morally is to habituate them to the right emotions, the noblest actuations, the best mental, emotional and physical habits and following right actions and fundamental impulses of the essential nature. We balance academics with character building education at our gurukul.

Disciplined learning leads to Concentration

Self-mastery and discipline, courage and confidence to control one’s impulses, reactions, and weaknesses are very important for leadership role. Attention is a factor in knowledge, the importance of which has been always recognized. Attention is the first condition of right memory and of accuracy. To attend to what he is doing is the first element of discipline required of the student, and this can easily be secured if the object of attention is made interesting. This attention to single thing is called concentration.
